The growth curve of Furniture China ‘s overseas visitors is one of the most accurate reference indicators for China's furniture exports, which increased from US$5.417 billion in 2002 to US$56.093 billion in 2019. Correspondingly, the overseas visitors of the fair expanded from 2,600 visits in 2002 to 21,078 visits in 2019, covering 160 countries and regions around the world.  The data speaks, there is no doubt about the strength of Furniture China as world’s leading event and its strong attraction to overseas buyers from all over the world.

China National Immigration Administration Further Adjusts Policies of Foreigners’ Visas and Entry

In order to better coordinate COVID-19 prevention and control with economic and social development, and to facilitate personnel exchanges between China and other countries, National Immigration Administration decides to adjust policies of foreigners’ visas and entry from 0:00 on March 15, 2023.

1. The Chinese visa that was issued before March 28, 2020 and remains valid will be reactivated.

2.The relevant visa-issuing authority stationed abroad will resume examining and issuing various types of Chinese visas. 

3. The port visa office will resume examining and issuing various types of port visas. 

4. The nucleic acid detection and centralized isolation after arriving at Shanghai ports were cancelled. New visitors to Shanghai only need to present a 48-hour nucleic acid negative report before departure.
